Blake David Anthony Tackett

1993—2022

Blake David Anthony Tackett, age 29, of Inez, passed away Dec. 23, 2022 at his home.

He was born Feb. 11, 1993 in Prestonsburg to Malena Dawn Ramey and the late David Anthony Tackett. In addition to his father, Blake is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Wade and Wanda Tackett of East Point.

In addition to his mother, survivors include maternal grandparents Margaret and Larry Sprague of Inez and Glen and Connie Ramey of Ulysses; three sisters, Angelina Tackett, Shalena Layne and Nakita Layne of Inez. Blake was also blessed with a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom loved him very much.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022 in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Richard “Doc” Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at the Maynard Cemetery at Grassy School Road. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
