Floyd Muncy

1946—2022

Floyd Monroe Muncy, 78, of Kermit, W.Va., passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2022 at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.

He was born Jan. 12, 1944 to the late Calvin and Gracie Messer Muncy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Muncy, sisters Verdie Messer and Gladys Trent, grandchild William B Muncy and brothers Coolidge Muncy and Melvin Muncy.

Survivors include his children Travis (Lynn) Muncy, Rhonda Johnson, Sonja (William) Hodge and Floyd (Gail) Muncy, brother Curtis Muncy, sister Edna Short and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be announced later. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
