Mae (Moore) Preece

(1926—2022)

Mae (Moore) Preece, 95, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at the home of her son, Robert (Phyllis) Preece.

Born July 12, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary Belle (Chapman) Moore. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Opal (Ivan) Wilson and Essie (Elmer) Kazee, as well as her husband, Lorenz “Babe” Preece. She is also preceded in death by two nieces, Lois and Donna, one nephew, Junior, and one son-in-law, Danny Jarrell.

She is survived by her five children, Carolyn Sue Jarrell, Robert (Phyllis) Preece, Ronald (Ruth) Preece, Larry (Phyllis) Preece and Greg (Judy) Preece. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 25, 2022, in the Crum Funeral Home chapel, with Denny Ray Moore officiating. Burial was at the Moore Cemetery on Wolf Creek, under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
