Leslie D. Hensley

(1936—2022)

Leslie D. Hensley, 86, of Kermit, W.Va., passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Pikeville Medical Center.

Born Feb. 23, 1936, in Lovely, he was the son of the late Homer and Carmel Williamson Hensley.

Leslie is survived by his loving wife, Thelma Marcum Hensley; two sons, Joshua (Tiffany) Hensley of Wise, Va., and Lesley Dale (Kayla) Hensley of Chapmanville, W.Va.; and eight grandchildren, Courtney Hensley, Braliegh Hensley, Joshua Dale Hensley, Leslie Daniel Hensley, Grayson Isaiah Hensley, Jed McCoy, Sylvia McCoy and Samuel Hensley.

The funeral was Tuesday, March 29, 20222, at the Warfield Chapel of the Callaham Funeral Home, with Eugene Marcum officiating. Burial was at the Carter-Messer Cemetery, under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
