Peggy Maynard

1939—2022

Peggy Maynard, age 83, of Inez, passed away Dec. 5, 2022 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 9, 1939 in Inez to the late Theodore Damron and Vernie Dempsey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Luster Hickman, her second husband, Alex Maynard, two sisters, Dolly Stacy and Pauline Fletcher and one niece, Becky Fletcher.

She is survived by one son, Luster Jackson Hickman, and four daughters, Virginia Horn and Brenda (David) Wright, both of Ashland, Neva Zeek of Inez and Aletha Chaffin of Louisville. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and three nieces.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, Dec. 9, 2022 in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. Burial was at the Swafford Fletcher Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
