Eden spotlighting Paws-itively Wonderful Wildcats

Eden Elementary would like to recognize several different groups of people that have exhibited “paws-itive” behaviors that are noteworthy of celebration. Every week, we would like to showcase a student from each grade level. We will also be spotlighting a community partner and a member/group of our hard-working staff that have gone above and beyond to make a positive impact on our school. This community partner and staff will actually remain in the spotlight for two weeks. Our school staff is always watching for opportunities to encourage students to demonstrate excellent character, behavior or effort. Our school hopes to create a “paws-itive” culture for students, staff, and our community where they truly feel valued as we spotlight these Wonderful Wildcats!

The staff we would like to recognize this week is Ms. Tabby Hinkle, one of our paraprofessionals at our school. She has gone above and beyond to make our school look phenomenal for Christmas. She has decorated it with her whole heart, and it shows! All of the students and staff have truly enjoyed all of the festive and beautiful decorations. Thank you, Ms. Tabby, for all you do for our school! We love you!

Community Member

Our school would like to spotlight a wonderful group of ladies that have contributed so very much to our community, the Planning and Decorating Committee for Christmas in the Mountains. What an amazing gift they have given not only to our community but to so many others from neighboring counties. They have spent seemingly endless hours planning and decorating for this festive event. All of the students of Martin County filled the town with laughter when they had the privilege of attending the event and participating in such activities as a movie, ice skating, the Story Walk, carnival rides and games, and various concessions. Our community is definitely blessed beyond measure to have all of these ladies that are so passionate about our town and people.

We love all of you ladies! Thank you so much for what you have done and continue to do for our little community! Members of the Planning and Decorating Committees included the following ladies: Linda Webb, Brenda Davis, Linda Booth, Mary Ann Fraley, Stephanie May, Lisa Parsons, Janet Mills, Kendra Fletcher, Tammie Jarrell, Trista Stafford and Paula Duncan.

Again, thanks to all of these Wonderful Wildcats for making our school a more “paws-itive” place to learn and be.
