Wanda Ann ‘Blackie’ Marcum

1967—2022

Wanda Ann “Blackie” Marcum, 55, of Wilsondale, W.Va., passed away Sunday, Nov. 27, 2022, at the Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.

She was born Sept. 28, 1967, in Williamson, W.Va., to the late Hubert and Bernice Brewer Marcum. She is preceded in death by her siblings Hubert Marcum Jr., Danny Lee Marcum, Roger Marcum, Randolph Marcum and Joyce Carol Marcum.

Blackie was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Christina Pack Dickerson of Wayne, W.Va.; grandchildren Jasmine Pack, Blake Pack, McKenzie Messer and Brandon “Jase” Messer; siblings Chester (Carol) Marcum of Columbus, Ohio, Kenneth Marcum and Amanda Marcum, both of Louisa, Aaron “Ricky” Marcum of Stepptown, W.Va., and Nellie “Tina” (Wendell) Williams, Judy Marcum and Dollie (Robert) Marcum, all of Kermit, W.Va. She also leaves behind her niece, Bernice Susie Nichols as well as several others.
