Wanda (Maynard) Davis

1964—2022

Wanda Maynard Davis, age 58, of Inez, passed away Nov. 8, 2022.

She was born Sept. 16, 1964 in Martin County to the late Jesse and Gracie Maynard. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Cornette and Patty Maynard, and two brothers, Ed Maynard and William Maynard.

She is survived by one son, Steven (Jodie Jude) Davis of Inez, one daughter, Brandi (Jimmy) Hensley of Cartersville, Ga., five brothers, Jeff Maynard, Darryl Maynard, Lonnie Maynard, John Maynard and Jessie Maynard Jr., and five sisters, Rosalean Chaffin, Kathryn Muncy, Nola Haug, Lois Lawson and Lucille Rose. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Steven, Aubree, Cameron, Skylar and Sofia, and one great-grandchild, Chloe.

Wanda was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister. She loved and cared for her children and grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral services were Friday, Nov. 11, 2022 at the Vineyard United Baptist Church. Burial was at the Maynard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral costs. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
