Edna (Muncy) Cline

1925—2022

Edna (Muncy) Cline, age 96, of Inez, passed away Nov. 2, 2022 at her residence.

She was born Dec. 25, 1925, in Laura, Martin County, to the late John B. and Hannah Sartin Muncy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Jacob Cline; five brothers, Arvil, Bob, Fred, Leonard and Rush Muncy; and four sisters, Eula Wallace, Pearl M. Fields, Eunice M. Maynard and Lue Muncy.

She is survived by one son, Norvin (Lucille) Cline; one grandson, Chris Cline; two granddaughters, Regina Cline and Andrea Cline; and six great-granddaughters, Courtney Cline, Erin Griffey, Karlie Jae Cline, Jasmine, Jayla and Bailey Jo Dials; one great-great-granddaughter, Brixlee Ann Dials, one caring niece, Larna Williams, two caring brothers and sisters in Christ, Brother Cecil and Sister Thelma Parsons; and two caring friends, Johnnie and Dale Jude.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022 in the Crum Funeral Home chapel with Tom Dials officiating. Burial was at the Caney Cemetery on Pigeon Roost under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
