A candidate public speakin’ event is set for Thursday, Nov. 3 in Inez.

Hosted by the Mountain Citizen and moderated by Dawn Giesecke, the event will start at 7 p.m. in the Martin County Fiscal Court meeting room on the second floor of the government center.

A panel will pose questions to the candidates. The candidates will also get the opportunity to speak to the public and answer questions from their potential constituents.

Martin County Clerk Susie Skyles will provide information about the write-in process for the Martin County Judge/Executive race and answer all other questions about the election process.

The event will be live-streamed on the Mountain Citizen Facebook page.
