Robbie Dale Sheppard
1963—2026

Robbie Dale Sheppard, 62, passed away June 7, 2026, at Pikeville Medical Center surrounded by the love of his family.

Born Sept. 23, 1963, Robbie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend whose kindness and dedication touched many lives.

Robbie worked many years as a security guard and scale operator. He was known for his strong work ethic, dependable nature and willingness to help others. Above all he loved his family and friends and treasured the time he spent with them.

Robbie’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, loyalty and dedication to family and friends will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his sweet mother Agnes Evans Cline and his loving sister Debbie Hall.

Survivors include Robbie’s loving wife of 18 years, Cathryn Sheppard; his three daughters, Shea (David) Maynard, Evelyn (Michael) Brown and Anna (Will) Maynard; and his four cherished grandchildren, Braxton and Kolten Brown, Mayson Maynard and Parker Wells.

He is also survived by his brother Dwayne Sheppard; his special nephew Shane (Amy) Hall; his special niece Kayla (Seth) Greer; and his very dear mother-in-law Ida-Mae Ellis.

The family would like to thank Salyersville Nursing and Rehab for taking good care of Robbie while he was there.

Honoring Robbie’s wishes, he will be cremated with no services.
