RICHMOND — Several local students earned academic honors at Eastern Kentucky University for the Fall 2025 semester.

Five students achieved the dean’s list by earning a grade-point average of at least 3.75. Three of those students also received the president’s award, the university’s highest undergraduate academic honor, by attaining a 4.0 grade-point average.

Dean’s list honorees include Taylor LeighAnn Albright of Warfield, a senior psychology major; Reese R. Blankenship of Inez, a sophomore elementary education major; Sarah Elizabeth Keener of Lovely, a sophomore biomedical sciences major; Dakota Brooke Ward of Beauty, a sophomore communication disorders major; and Alyssa Shae Jewell of Louisa, a sophomore pre-medical laboratory science major.

Blankenship, Ward and Jewell also received the president’s award.
