WARFIELD — Martin County Middle School standouts Chucky Leonard and Braxten Pack are being recognized as two of the best football players in the mountains.
The duo has been selected to play in the Kentucky All-State football game June 11-13 at Eastern Kentucky University.
The two MCMS athletes will also represent Region 3 in the Battle of the Regions on March 28-29.
Additionally, they will compete on a national stage during Memorial Day weekend at the D1 Savage Spring All-American Games in Virginia Beach.
“This opportunity is a tremendous honor and a testament to the dedication I’ve upheld in both academics and athletics,” Leonard said.
Leonard has built an impressive resume as a student and athlete. He serves as secretary of the Martin County Middle School Student Council, maintains a high GPA, and competes in both football and basketball.
To help make participation in the all-state event possible, sponsorship opportunities are available to cover the cost of the trip.
“Thank you in advance for considering to support my journey and for your generous spirit,” Leonard said. “Your contribution helps bridge the gap between dreams and reality for aspiring athletes like me.”
Donations can be made through Leonard’s sponsorship page: prepsponsor.com/sponsorship-campaigns/184.
