Pike County grand jury indicts 12

PIKEVILLE  —  The Pike County grand jury returned 12 true bills Feb. 25. Charges ranged from rape and sodomy to illegal drugs and burglary.

Nicky Bartley, 44, of Pikeville, was indicted on charges of tampering with evidence third degree, possession of a controlled substance, DUI first, possession of marijuana, all-terrain vehicle violations and no tags.

Justin Damron, 34, of Mouthcard, stands indicted on a single charge of first-degree sodomy.

Tanya A. Garitty, 56, of Frankfort. has been indicted on charges of theft by deception and fraudulent use of a credit card.

Anthony Gooslin, 35, of McCarr, was indicted on first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jarrad Hicks, 41, of Pikeville, was indicted on multiple charges that include first-degree promoting contraband, two counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, DUI first, driving suspended, prescription not in proper container, failure to use proper signal, no tail lamps, no tags and no brake lights.

Richard May, 38, of Pikeville, stands indicted on a single charge of menacing.

Timothy May, 30, of Pinsonfork, has been indicted on charges of first-degree criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an accident, four counts of second-degree wanton endangerment, and menacing.

Tony Randall Mitchem, 45, and Eric Jordan, 37, both of Pikeville, were indicted for first-degree robbery.

Ciara L. Nichols, 31, of Pikeville, was indicted for theft of identity.

Nathaniel Raines, 39, of Pikeville, stands indicted for first-degree rape.

Nathaniel Tackett, 44, of Elkhorn City, has been indicted for first-degree robbery.
