Audrey Chaffin-Ayers

Audrey Chaffin-Ayers, 73, of Roseville, Ohio, passed away March 1, 2026.

Born April 21, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Asher Chaffin and Tempa Maynard Chaffin.

In addition to her parents, Audrey is preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Bowen; two daughters, Tennessee McNeely and Loretta Bowen; one brother, Richard Chaffin; and three sisters, Lola Johnson, Nollis Maynard and Opal Sweeney.

She is survived by three sons, Shone (Caroline) Bowen of Kermit, West Virginia, Arlie Bowen Jr., of Lovely and Lonnie Dale Bowen of Roseville, Ohio; one daughter, Vernia Ann (David) Stevens of Lake City, Florida; one brother, Randall (Rose) Chaffin of South Carolina; and one sister, Annie Sweeney of Pikeville. She also leaves behind her14 precious grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Audrey will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 6, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Crum Funeral Home in Inez. Burial will follow at the Maynard Family Cemetery, Inez. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, March 5, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
