Clayton Jarrell Speakman, 40, of Inez, passed away Feb. 13, 2026, at UK Hospital in Lexington, surrounded by his family and friends.

Born Nov. 19, 1985, he was the son of Sandy Mills and the late Timothy Speakman.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Tammy Speakman, who passed away six months ago, and his oldest son, whom he missed dearly, Phillip Michael Speakman. He is also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Hazel Diana Bowen; his maternal grandparents, William and Lynda Mollett; his paternal grandparents, Ronnie Speakman and Jarrell Marcum; his brother-in-law, Michael Bowen; his sister-in-law, Courtney Jude; his special friend, Brenda Spence; and his special friends who were more like his brothers, Shawn Spence and Derek Mollett.

Clayton leaves behind his three children, Christopher Blake Speakman (Angel Waller), Hazalena Marie Speakman and Dashia Makay Speakman, and four children he raised as his own: Robert White, Buck Bowen, Nebert Bowen and Jameson Harmon. He is also survived by his mother, Sandy Mills and his stepfather, Michael Mills; his father-in-law, Curtis Bowen; his two brothers, Granville (Charlet) Mollett and Timothy (Laura) Speakman; his sisters, Ashley Knipp and Angela Howard; his sisters-in-law, Tiffany (Greg) Preece, Danielle (Kevin) Fletcher and Niki Bowen; and his brothers-in-law, Curtis Ray Bowen (Kesihan), Mason Funk (Tori) and Jason (Kathy) Hall. Clayton also leaves behind one grandson, who was his pride and joy, Brentley Jay Waller Speakman; his special friends Kandi Waller, Robin Spence, Sherretta Spence, Ronnie and Deloris Cisco; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and so many other family and friends who he loved dearly.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Crum Funeral Home in Inez with Ray Staton, James Maynard and Rodney Brown officiating. Burial will follow at the Mollette Family Cemetery in Tomahawk. Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday, Feb. 16 and Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crum Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
