Brenda Carol (Webb) Moore Obituary

Brenda Moore
1951—2026

Brenda Carol (Webb) Moore, 73, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Feb. 14, 2026, passing away peacefully at her home surrounded by family.

Born March 5, 1951, she was a woman of profound faith and a “servant’s heart.” She was a longtime, faithful member of Freedom Freewill Baptist Church, where her devotion to her church family and the Bible was a cornerstone of her life.

She dedicated her professional career to the service of others, retiring from the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services. Her commitment to her community extended far beyond her career; she was an active member of Kiwanis, a local Bible study group, a local book club, and numerous other community organizations throughout the years.

Those who knew her will remember her love for the simple joys of life—taking bus trips to explore new places and the many travels she took with her family to various places like the mountains of Colorado and Montana or ocean shores.

Above all, her family was her world. She loved her grandchildren with her whole heart and lived for the time she spent with them. She was a constant source of strength for her daughter and best friend, Ashlee, especially throughout her courageous journey with CMML1 leukemia.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Delmer; her daughter, Brooke; her mother, Edna Hensley; and several siblings.

Her legacy of love and service lives on through her daughter, Ashlee Moore Hale and husband Chris Hale; and her three cherished grandsons, Owen, Wyatt and Waylon Hale. She is also survived by her sister, Sherry Anglin, as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Feb. 17, 2026, at Crum Funeral Home in Inez with Reverend Mike Smith officiating. A graveside service followed at Mountain Valley Memorial Garden on Coldwater Road.

Friends may visit the funeral home on Feb. 16, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.

“Well done good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Master.” Matthew 25:21
