Martin County completes roadbed rebuild on Big Lick
Heavy equipment spreads gravel and finishes rebuilding the roadbed on Big Lick Road in Job last week. The project follows the collapse of the one-lane roadway in February 2025, leaving only a narrow strip of pavement along a steep embankment. The Martin County Fiscal Court secured Federal Emergency Management Agency funding for the repairs, which began last month.
