Vaughn David Stonerock
1944—2026

Vaughn David Stonerock, 82, of Inez, passed away Jan. 24, 2026, at Highlands ARH in Prestonsburg.

Born May 15, 1944, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Leon Stonerock and Bonnie McFarlane.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Williamson Stonerock; three siblings, Sharon Graves, Larry Stonerock and Ronnie Stonerock; and several step-siblings.

Survivors include his sons, Nathan (Michal) Stonerock of Inez and Joel (Kimberly) Stonerock of Winchester; granddaughter, AnnaLeah Stonerock of Inez; and two step-grandsons, Jacob and Justin Burdine. Also surviving are one brother, Chalmer Stonerock and brother-in-law, Earnest Graves, both of Jacksonville, Florida, along with a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Memorial services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Paintsville on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m., with Ron Ward officiating. For those who will not be able to attend and would like to watch via Zoom, please contact the family for that information.
