Deputies seize drugs, guns and cash in Bull Creek raid

FLOYD COUNTY — Two people went to jail Friday night after sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at a residence on Big Branch of Bull Creek in Floyd County.

According to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, deputies seized illegal drugs, multiple firearms, cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales and digital scales.

According to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, deputies also recovered digital scales during the search.

Tyler McKinney, 25, and Heather Slone, 25, both of Big Branch of Bull Creek, both face a charge of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance with an enhancement.

A third person at the residence was arrested on outstanding warrants, authorities said.

The sheriff’s office said the investigation stemmed in part from information provided through its anonymous tip line and text-a-tip service.
