Linda Kay Marcum
1960—2026

Linda Kay (Kirk) Marcum, of Lovely, passed away Monday, Jan. 19, 2026, at the Community Hospice Care Center of Ashland.

She was born Oct. 14, 1960, to the late John Jr. and Velma Kirk.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Dean Marcum; her daughter, Stephanie Nicole Marcum; her brothers, Clifton (Emma) Bowen, Melvin (Sue) Bowen of Hode, and Elmer Kirk of Pilgrim, and her brother-in-law, Gary Staten, of Lovely.

Linda is survived by her brothers, Chester Kirk of Louisa; Bill (Ladonna) Kirk of Beauty and Jeff (Kathy) Kirk of Lovely; her sister, Wilma Staton of Winchester; and her sister-in-law, Becky Kirk of Pilgrim. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive her.

Linda was a faithful and dedicated member of Warfield Church of God for many years.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026, at the Bowen Cemetery in Inez. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
