Mingo arrest report week of Jan. 11

WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — Several arrest reports were released by the Mingo County Magistrate Court office by various law enforcement agencies.

Jimmy Keith West, 40, of Baisden, was charged with obstructing an officer, fleeing and resisting arrest after a breaking and entering investigation on Gilbert Creek Road. Deputies B.T. Sipple and T.J. Justice made the arrest Jan. 9.

West was arraigned by Magistrate Donald Sansom.

Lester Bailey, 38, of Mohawk, was charged with several drug charges, including possession with intent to deliver meth and fentanyl. He was arrested by MCSD Sgt. N. Mines and Gilbert Police Officer N. Glanden.

Kirk Nicholas Knopek, 33, of Matewan, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no proof of insurance and no registration. He was arrested by MCSD Deputy M. Tiller.

Donald Ray Howell, 52, of Kermit, was charged with several charges of possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested by WVSP Trooper Z. Bragg.

Kevin Lee Allen, 52, of Bruno, was charged with larceny. He was arrested by the Gilbert Police Department.

Michael G. Spaulding, 42, of Kermit, was arrested Jan. 14 by MCSD Sgt. P. Muncy, Cpl. E. Williams and Deputy T. Layne on outstanding warrants for grand larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. According to the criminal complaint, this case involves a stolen vehicle.

Rlanda Tyndal, 70, of Delbarton, was charged with violating an EPO (emergency protective order). Tyndal was arrested by Deputy T. Layne of the MCSD after the suspect allegedly went to a residence and made threats to another individual.

Bobby Lee Thornsbury, 43, Matewan, was charged with destruction of property and entry into a dwelling (not a building) of Hook and Haul to get items out of an impounded vehicle. He was arrested Jan. 15 by MCSD Deputies J. D. Tincher and T. Layne.

(All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.)
