Darvin J. Morrison Jr., 54, of Inez, passed away Jan. 3, 2026, at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville.
Born Dec. 18, 1971, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Shirley Baldwin Morrison of Debord and the late Darvin J. Morrison.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Darren Matthew Morrison and father-in-law, Thomas Jefferson Jude.
Survivors in addition his mother include his wife, Latonia Renae Jude Morrison of Inez; mother-in-law Donna (John) Sartin; three sons, Devon Thomas J. (Kayla Denae) Morrison of West Union, Ohio, Trevor Alexander (Megan Victoria) Morrison of Milo, and Darvin Dakota (Courtney Hope) Morrison of Inez; one daughter, Allison Renae (Trevon Tyrese) Williams; five precious grandchildren, Everleigh Ruth Morrison, Luna Rose Williams, Nellie Vonn Raine Morrison, Grayson Dakota Morrison and Cooper Thomas J. Morrison; a special niece, Gabriella Kaylee Mahon Jude; two special nephews, Brantley Thomas Jude and Cameron Grady Jude; his chosen brothers, Tommy (Jessica) Jude, Barry (Debbie) Preece, Henderson (Patty) Jude, Randy (Teresa) Ray, Steve Cecil, Ryan Jarrell and Ian Bertling; and fishing buddy, Rodney Boggs.
Darvin was a hard worker and was loved by many. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, riding side-by-sides, and anything outdoors.
To his wife, he was her ride-or-die, best friend, loving husband, loving father to their children, and loving grandfather to their grandchildren. “I will love him, and he will always be in my heart forever.” Love, Latonia
To his children, he was their Superman, who taught them to be the people they are today. Darvin will never be forgotten. He will be forever missed and always loved.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Crum Funeral Home in Inez, with Jessie Dwayne Raines officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Valley Memorial Gardens in Inez. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
