Princess Eugene (Lewallen) Edwards
1941—2026

Princess Eugene (Lewallen) Edwards, 84, of Debord, passed away Jan. 3, 2026, at Highlands Regional Medical Center.

Born May 17, 1941, in Fostoria, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lewallen and Evelyn Waters Lewallen. In addition to her parents, Princess is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Edwards; three brothers, Tom Lewallen, Roy Lewallen and Harold Lewallen; and one sister, Gloria Bridenstine.

Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Newsome of Debord and Lois DeVore (Mike) of Wayne, Ohio; one brother, Fred Lewallen of Wharton, Ohio; and one sister, Faye Bridenstine of Forrest, Ohio. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Anthony Gump, Elizabeth Newsome, Amber Martinez, Daniel Newsome, Amanda Griffey and Emilee DeVore and one special great-grandchild, Chloe Goble.

Princess was a member of the Bradner House of Prayer.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
