INEZ — Under the glow of twinkling lights and the quiet magic of the season, Heath Sexton asked Florence Maynard a question meant for a lifetime at the “Christmas Tree Farm” in downtown Inez, Dec. 23.

Surrounded by evergreens and holiday warmth, Maynard, a senior at Martin County High School, answered simply and joyfully, “Yes.”
