Mingo County arrests

CITIZEN STAFF REPORT

WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — Recent Mingo County, West Virginia, arrests include the following:

Tippy Davis Potter

Tippy Davis Potter, 38, was arrested Dec. 28 on charges of conspiracy to commit a felony-1 and burglary.

Patty L. Vance

Patty L. Vance of Delbarton, was arrested Dec. 27 for driving under the influence, driving while license suspended, no insurance, improper registration, defective equipment and possession of a controlled substance. Mingo County Sheriff’s Deputy J. May made the arrest.

Micheal G. Chaffins

Micheal G. Chaffins of Wharncliffe was arrested Dec. 27 for defective equipment, driving while license suspended for DUI and possession of a controlled substance x 2. Deputy J. May made the arrest.

Keith Anthony Hill

Keith Anthony Hill, 33, was arrested Dec. 26 for conspiracy-1, fleeing on foot, driving revoked for DUI, fleeing with reckless indifference and possession of a controlled substance.

Daniel Keith Prater

Daniel Keith Prater, 33, was arrested Dec. 27 on charges of burglary-1, destruction of property, obstructing an officer, trespassing and battery on an officer. He is in the Southwest Regional Jail on a $10,000 bond.

Bobby L. Thornsburry III

Bobby L. Thornsbury III of Matewan was arrested Dec. 24 for driving under the influence DUI, driving while license suspended, no insurance and felony destruction of property. Mingo County Sheriff’s Deputy J.D. Tincher, Cpl M. Lendearo and Deputy T. Layne made the arrest.

Scott Maynard

Scott Maynard, 46, was arrested Dec. 19 for probation violation-1 for a felony offense.

Ricky Lee Gauze

Ricky Lee Gauze, 46, was charged Dec. 16 with failure to register as a sex offender-1 and circuit court capias.

Andrew James Miner, 44, was arrested Dec. 15 on a charge of sex offender registry violation-3. He is in the Southwest Regional Jail on a $15,000 cash-only bond.

Hannah Sue McKelvey, 32, of Dingess, was arrested Dec. 14 on one count of domestic battery. She allegedly struck Amanda Shadd. She was arrested by the West Virginia State Police (WVSP).

Eddie Earl Davis

Eddie Earl Davis, 41, of Chattaroy, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender, second offense. He was arrested by the WVSP. He is in the Southwest Regional Jail on a $20,000 cash-only bond.

Francie Justine Marcum, 31, of Dingess, was charged with DUI and no proof of insurance. She was arrested by the WVSP. The trooper noticed the driver was operating a Toyota Highlander that had struck a guardrail at Naugatuck and sustained damage to the front of the vehicle. After a field sobriety test he made the arrest.
