INEZ — Martin County High School’s Braxton Keathley is the Kirk & Crum Law Firm Player of the Week.

Keathley battled through a rugged three-game stretch at the Bristol Christmas Tournament on the road. The junior guard poured in 93 points in three games (31.0 ppg) and added 26 rebounds.

He posted double-doubles against South Oldham (22 points, 10 rebounds, four 3s) and Charlotte (31 points, 11 rebounds) in an overtime thriller.

Keathley’s signature performance came Dec. 26 against Hamilton Heights Christian Academy. He erupted for 40 points on 16-of-24 shooting. He also contributed five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
