Nyoka Dale (Jenkins) Maynard
1952—2025

Nyoka Dale (Jenkins) Maynard, 73, of Beauty, passed away Dec. 27, 2025, at her home surrounded by family after a courageous fight with cancer.

Born April 17, 1952, in Williamson, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Raymond and Helena (Stepp) Jenkins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Maynard.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three children: daughter, Lisa (Virgil) Marcum of Beauty; two sons, Eugene (Rhonda) Maynard Jr. of Lenore, West Virginia, and Chuck (Alecia Singleton) Maynard of Salvisa; and one brother, Talmadge Jenkins. Nyoka is also survived by nine grandchildren, Morgan (Dave) Evans, Devin Maynard, Bryan Marcum, Rihanna Marcum, Chasity (Ricky) Harless, Ethan Maynard, Gavin Marcum, Waylon Marcum and Mason Singleton; six great-grandchildren, Ella Evans, Eli Evans, Jaylyn Harless, Ricky Harless, Kyler Harless and Trey Harless; and many nieces and nephews who she loved as her own children.

Nyoka loved to spend time with her family, traveling, and motorcycle riding with her late husband. Her greatest and most important accomplishment is giving her life to the Lord.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with Joe Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Charlie Maynard Cemetery in Beauty. Friends may visit the funeral home Sunday, Dec. 28 and Monday, Dec. 29, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Tuesday, Dec. 30, from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
