The Tug Valley Lady Panthers were busy playing three games in three days this past week. They won two of three games over the long weekend.
Winfield 36, Tug 32
Winfield outscored Tug Valley 15-5 in the final quarter to pull out a 36-32 victory in a game played at West Virginia State University, Thursday, Dec. 18.
The Lady Panthers led most of the game, but the Class AAA Lady Generals’ late surge pulled away in a low-scoring game.
Bailee Hall had a double-double to lead Tug Valley, scoring 10 points and hauling down 19 rebounds. Haven Deskins added 10 points for TV, while Kylie DeBoard scored five, Katie Hall and Katelyn Richardson scored three each and Gracie Hynd added two points. Katie Hall led Tug Valley with four assists.

Gabby Canterbury led Winfield with 10 points.

Tug 47, Cameron 34
The Class A No. 3-ranked Lady Panthers improved to 2-1 on the season with the 47-34 win. No. 6 Cameron fell to 2-2.
Katie Hall led the Lady Panthers with 16 points. She also pulled down 11 rebounds, had five steals and dished out four assists. Bailee Hall had another double-double with 12 points and a dozen rebounds. She also had five steals.
Haven Deskins scored 11 points, while Katelyn Richardson chipped in eight.

Emma Francis led Cameron with eight points.

Tug 51, PC 39
Tug Valley finished the week with a 51-39 win over visiting Pike Central at the TVHS gym Saturday afternoon.
Bailee Hall scored 16 points and hauled down 18 rebounds and Katie Hall scored 11 and pulled down 12 boards to lead the way for Coach Seth Ooten’s squad. Haven Deskins and Kylie DeBoard also got into double figures, scoring 12 and 11 points. Gracie Hynd tacked on one point to round out the scoring for the Lady Panthers.
Cydney Snodgrass led the Lady Hawks with 12 points and Larah Stanley added 10.
Tug Valley improved to 3-1 on the season. The Lady Panthers were scheduled to host Class A power Gilmer County, Tuesday.
