Glen Ramey
1953—2025

Glen Ramey, age 72, of Ulysses, passed away Dec. 19, 2025, at his home.

Born June 26, 1953, in Paintsville, he was the son of the late Troy and Dorothy (Adams) Ramey.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Phillip Ray Ramey, Thomas Randall Ramey, Harold Dean Ramey and Donald Edward Ramey; one sister, Peggy Joyce Ramey; and one grandson, Blake David Anthony Tackett.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Connie Kay (Nickles) Ramey; three sisters, Linda Lou Ramey, Frona Jane Davis and Janet Lee Copley; one brother, Martin Luther Ramey; one son, Joshua Tyler Ramey (Megan Stansberry); one daughter, Malena Dawn Ramey; six grandchildren, Paxton Kai Ramey, Cooper Lane Ramey, Cashton Reed Ramey, Angelina Dawn Tackett, Shalena Jo Layne and Nakita Lynn Layne; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Riverview Memorial Gardens in Louisa, with Brian Crum officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
