Karl L. Brewer
1957—2025

Karl L. Brewer, 68, of Kermit, West Virginia, passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, in Huntington, West Virginia.

Born Sept. 16, 1957, he was the son of the late Carl Brewer and Ruby Perry Brewer.

He was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Fred Brewer, Wanda Dillon, Jeri Rose, Lorraine Marcum and Marlene Smith.

Karl L. is survived by his siblings, Marion (Faye) Brewer, Dee Dillon, Dwayne Brewer and Sue Brewer, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Karl L. was skilled in masonry work. Evidence of his talent can be seen all over Mingo County. When not working in this field, you could find him watching wrestling or Kung Fu movies with a bowl of popcorn.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Bub and Riley for all their care during Karl L.’s illness.

A celebration of life was held for him Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, at Kermit United Baptist Church, with Pastor Freddie officiating.
