Lawrence Fredrick Dheel Jr., 69, passed away in Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 27, 2025.

Born Aug. 18, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of Lawrence Dheel Sr. and Marion Dheel, who preceded him in death.

Lawrence lived in Columbus, Ohio, and worked as a factory worker until retirement.

He is survived by spouse Dana King; daughter Dawn Jude; son David Jude; six grandkids, Shelby (Mason Preece) Jude, Dillion (Selena Perry) Dick, Kayla Jude, Chole Jude, Brooklyn Marcum and Nick O’ keefe; two great-grandchildren, Weston Preece, Khyson Jude and one on the way; eight siblings, Bill (Gina) Dheel, Barbara (Jeff) Mullins, Jeff (Patricia) Dheel, Beverly Compnotta, Terry Dheel, James Cornette, Lisa Sheets and Ernestine Hubbard.

Lawrence enjoyed watching boxing and football, spending time with family and friends and making home improvements.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, at O.R. WOODYARD Co. Funeral Home in Columbus, Ohio. Burial will take place Dec. 3, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Cornette Family Cemetery in Tomahawk, Kentucky.
