Emory G. ‘Doker’ Mollette

Emory G. “Doker” Mollette, 87, of Trace Fork Road, Tomahawk, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025.

Born Sept. 20, 1938, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late Bill and Elva Butcher Mollette.

Emory worked as a carpenter for Bakers Construction Company in Columbus, Ohio, before returning home to work as a heavy machine operator for Martin County Coal.

Emory is survived by his four children, Ruby Ilene Mollette, Roy Garland Mollette, both of Tomahawk, Jennifer (Elvis) Patrick of Louisa, and Kimberly Joyce (Darrell) Grimm of East Point; eight grandchildren, James Elvis, Leann, Melissa, Eric, Tyler, Jenna, Nathaniel and Derrick; and 12 great-grandchildren, Thomas, Liam, Keenan, Kenadie, Grayson, Eli, Gracie, Titan, lee, Journee, Remi and Charli. He is also survived by three brothers, Claude, Rab and Ronnie and two sisters, Georgia and Conda.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025 at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez with Claude Mollette officiating. Burial followed at the Ballard Butcher Cemetery under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
