Henrietta James
1950—2025

Henrietta James, 75, of Inez, passed away Nov. 14, 2025, at her home.

Born July 21, 1950, on Milo in Martin County, she was the daughter of the late Ida Mae Hensley and William Walter “Dick” Fannin.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Milo Joe Fannin, John Larry Fannin and James Warren “Fatso” Fannin; and her mother-in-law, Martha James.

Henrietta is survived by her husband, Larry James; two sons, Larry Mitchell (Dena) James and Jason (Amy) James; five grandchildren, Cassady (Chuck) White, Dylan (Brooke) James, Jake James, Trey James and Mia James; and three great-grandchildren, Conor, Cade and Charlotte White. She also leaves behind two brothers, Jerrell Fannin of Williamsport and Etzel Dale Fannin of Milo.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Lonnie Ratliff officiating. Burial followed at the Stafford Cemetery, Milo, under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home.
