Martin County Sheriff John Kirk

INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office has released the following arrests:

Mack A. Estep

Mack A. Estep, 41, of Warfield, was arrested Friday on an indictment warrant charging him with trafficking in controlled substance, first degree (over 2 grams of methamphetamine), possession of controlled substance, third degree (drug unspecified), possession of marijuana, failure to or improper signal, and no registration. Deputy Andrew Chapman served the warrant.

Christopher Maynard

Christopher Maynard, 42, of Inez, was arrested Thursday in Lovely on a charge of alcohol intoxication in a public place. Deputy Jameson Wall was dispatched to North Wolf Creek after receiving a report of a man stumbling along the roadway. Wall found Maynard “staggering in the road with traffic.” The police report states that Maynard was “highly intoxicated and smelled of alcohol.”

Jeffrey B. Marcum

Jeffrey B. Marcum, 40, of Louisa, was arrested Thursday in Inez on two warrants from Martin County. Deputy B. Wells served the warrants.

Joe Allen Evans

Joe Allen Evans, 52, of Inez, was arrested Thursday in Inez on a warrant from Jefferson District Court on a felony charge. Deputy Dennis Hall made the arrest.

Jonathan Deaton

Jonathan Deaton, 32, of West Liberty, was arrested Nov. 5 at Ford Place in Inez on four bench warrants. Deputy Steven Putman served the warrants.

Lonnie Joe Robinson

Lonnie Joe Robinson, 45, of Tomahawk, was arrested Nov. 5 at Ford Place in Inez on a bench warrant for court. Deputy Putman served the warrant.

James Richard Maynard

James Richard Maynard, 44, of Lovely, was arrested Nov. 5 at Taylor’s Trailer Park in Lovely for possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, and no registration. Deputy J.C. Kirk observed Maynard operating a motor vehicle on KY 292 with expired temporary tags. The police report states that Maynard “admitted to having weed on him.” The deputy said he also discovered a bag containing 11 orange pills.

Steven Farnham

Steven Farnham, 51, of Inez, was arrested Nov. 4 at J&S Quick Mart in Tomahawk on a charge of public intoxication-controlled substance (excludes alcohol). Deputy Putman and Sheriff Kirk were on patrol when they encountered Farnham, who had outstanding warrants. The deputy noted that Farnham was unsteady on his feet, had slurred speech, and was “sorta dancing in place” with “very dilated pupils.”

Carl Daniels

Carl Daniels, 40, of Inez, was arrested Nov. 4 in Inez on two bench warrants. Deputy Putman served the warrants.

Scottie Thompson

Scottie Thompson, 38, of Warfield, was arrested Nov. 4 at Riverside Apartments in Warfield on a bench warrant. Deputy Putman served the warrant.
