James Everett Setser
1965—2025

James Everett Setser, 60, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025.

Born Saturday, Sept. 18, 1965, to Clarence and Annie Hall Setser, he was the youngest of three boys.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda May Setser and one brother, Donald Ray Setser.

James is survived by one son, James Ryban (Melissa) Setser of Tomahawk; one brother, Clarance Douglas (Tina) Setser; nieces and nephews Kimberly (Tim) Horn of Inez, Matthew (Amber) Setser of New York, Harold (Amanda) Setser of Hi-Hat and Travis (Lindsey) Setser of Defiance, Ohio. He is also survived by two step-grandchildren, Robert Lee Cole Setser and Rebecca Cole, along with a host of great-nieces and great-nephews that he loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Tim Preece and Bill Davis officiating. Burial will follow at the Setser Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
