Everett ‘Bo’ Turner Obituary

Everett ‘Bo’ Turner
1959—2025

Everett “Bo” Turner, age 66, of Tomahawk, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 5, 2025.

Born Oct. 28, 1959, he was the son of the late Ray and Minzie Marie Arthur Turner.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dwana Turner, and their babies, whom he now meets for the first time in Heaven.

Bo is survived by his sisters, Dollie (Dave) Kreger of Severn, Maryland, and Deonna (Malcolm) Pinson of Tomahawk, and his brothers, Vada (Jennifer) Turner of Sacramento, California, and Cletus Turner of Tomahawk. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever cherish his laughter, wisdom, and steady presence.

A retired coal miner, Bo was known for his hard work, strong faith, and love of the outdoors. He found peace in hunting and fishing, and joy in attending services at Phillip Cove Freewill Baptist Church.

Bo had a storyteller’s heart, writing poetry and stories about his life, family, and childhood. His words and his warmth touched everyone who knew him.

The memory of his laughter, kindness, and wisdom will remain a blessing to all who loved him. Everett “Bo” Turner has gone home to be reunited with Dwana and to hold the babies he never got to meet in this life.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
