Bonnie June Dingess
1952—2025
Bonnie June Dingess, 73, of Grey Eagle/Kermit, West Virginia, entered her heavenly home Nov. 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
A devoted Christian, Bonnie was a faithful member of the Warfield Church of God, where she joyfully served in the church choir, sharing her God-given gift of song and praise.
Born March 4, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mary Sheppard Cline. However, she was lovingly raised by her aunt and uncle, Claire and Rush Slater.
In addition to her parents and her aunt and uncle, Bonnie is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, Ralph Dingess, and her siblings, Opal Roberts, Ruth Hicks, Charles Cline, Dorothy Tennie Muncy, Annie Cline, Fannie Cline, Danny Cline, Linda Bowman, and Wanda Blankenship.
She is survived by her loving siblings Carolyn Fields, Alice Emmie Ooten, Billy Cline, Eugene Cline, Terry Cline, Brenda Smith-Bowling and Eddie Cline, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Bonnie’s greatest joy in life was her family.
She is survived by her children Vickie (BJ) Moore, Kenneth (Fran) Dingess, Nichole (life partner Wendy) Harrison and Kevin Dingess; grandchildren Brett Moore, Paige Muncy, LaTosha Goff, Jamie Maynard, Skylar Dingess, Christopher Johnson, Heather Fitch and Mindy Robinson; great-grandchildren Kelsie Chafin, Carter Moore, Canaan Moore, Scarlet Moore, Salem Moore, Winslet Muncy, Ronik Muncy, Donald Robinson Jr., Maddy Robinson, Delanie Cook, Bradley Fitch and Solomon Fitch; and one precious great-great-granddaughter, Adelina Johnson.
Bonnie worked at the Mingo County Health Department for 2-3 years after her children were grown. Still, her most cherished role was that of a homemaker, caring for her family with unwavering love and devotion.
She was truly a child of God, a woman whose heart overflowed with kindness, forgiveness and faith. Bonnie loved her family deeply, but above all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Her voice and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at the Warfield Church of God with Robbie May officiating. Burial followed at the Roman Cemetery in Hode.
