Prosecutors say Estep failed to signal while turning on a roadway and was driving a vehicle with either no registration plates or expired plates.

His is $10,000. He may not be released from custody until after an interview and evaluation by pretrial services.

Thornton Eddie Goble

Thornton Eddie Goble, 62, of Louisa, faces charges in two separate indictments involving gunfire and driving under the influence.

In the first indictment he stands accused of five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment (discharge of a firearm). Those charges stemmed from an Aug. 2 incident in which Goble allegedly drove under the influence with a blood alcohol level of approximately 0.185 and had three prior DUI convictions within 10 years. The grand jury further alleges he operated a vehicle while his license was suspended for DUI, possessed an open alcoholic beverage container in the motor vehicle, and failed to produce proof of insurance.

His bail in the DUI case is $5,000. He remains subject to pretrial services evaluation before release.

The indictment also states that Marcum intentionally attempted to prevent Deputy Wall from making the arrest through the use or threat of physical force.
