WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — Several arrests were made by law enforcement agencies this past week in Mingo County.
Chris Bumgarner, 39, of Chapmanville, was charged with breaking and entering. He was arrested by the West Virginia State Police (WVSP).
Jonathan Kyle Walker, 30, of Justice, was charged with assault while committing a felony, petit larceny, person (convicted felon) prohibited with possession of a firearm, simple possession of marijuana and simple possession of meth. He was arrested after allegedly breaking into a vehicle by the Gilbert Police Department.
Steven Ballard Adkins, 31, of Pinsonfork, Kentucky, was charged with obstructing an officer, public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He was arrested by the Williamson Police Department (WPD).
Arthur Salmons, 70, of Baisden, was charged with trespassing at a Dollar General Store after being told to leave by management. He was arrested by the Gilbert Police Department.
Jason David Riffe, 47, of Harts Creek, was charged with fleeing, obstruction, driving on a suspended license, no insurance and no registration. He was arrested by the WVSP.
John Conrad Miller, 25, Goochlane, Virginia, and Edward Eugene Drumgold, 61, of Richmond, Virginia. were both charged with conspiracy trying to obtain a prescription drug by fraud. They were arrested by the Gilbert Police Department.
Brennix Jase Wallace, 18, Varney, was charged with malicious wounding in an incident at Mingo Central High School. He was arrested by the Mingo County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD).
Gregory Goosby, 47, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct at a government building. He was arrested by the WVSP.
Michael Thomas Lester, 34, listed as homeless, was charged with obstructing, possession of a controlled substance and domestic battery. He was arrested by the WPD.
(All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.)
