Dear Editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Mr. Eric Phelps, Mr. Titus Marcum, and the county road employees for cutting the weeds up Poplar Fork along the ditch lines and creek banks, as needed.

They did an outstanding job which allows the road to look so much better/different. I’m sure that everyone that travels this road daily appreciates their hard work.

Their work will allow oncoming traffic to be seen in both directions as a result of the weeds being cut.  In some places, traffic will now be able to pass each other.  If not, one vehicle will now be able to pull over to the side of the road without ending up in weeds in order to let the other vehicle pass.  People will no longer have to worry about their vehicles being scratched/scarred up by the roadside weeds when meeting oncoming traffic.

Again, thanks to you gentlemen for a job well done. Very much appreciated.
