INEZ — Martin County High School shooting guard Eli Mills has made his college decision. After receiving multiple offers, Mills has committed to continue his basketball career at Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois.
Mills, who also drew interest from Kentucky Christian University, announced his commitment following a strong junior season for the Cardinals.
He averaged 5.3 points per game while shooting 45% from the field and connected on 41 3-pointers at a 42.3% clip – establishing himself as one of the 15th Region’s most reliable perimeter threats.
In addition to his outside shooting, Mills contributed 1.6 rebounds per game and provided steady minutes in the Cardinals’ backcourt.
Mills will enter his senior season as one of Martin County’s top returning players as the Cardinals look to make another deep postseason run.
