INEZ — Martin County High School’s Jerrod Haney is the Inez Drug Store Player of the Week.

The junior had an outstanding performance Friday in the Cardinals’ 48-18 win over Leslie County.

Haney made his presence felt on both sides of the ball. He hauled in four receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown.

He also brought down five Eagles runners and recorded an interception for 33 yards.
