
The Big Sandy Area Community Action Program is seeking vendors to supply fuel sources for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program known as LIHEAP.
The agency announced a series of vendor meetings across its five-county service area, including a meeting Oct. 8 in Martin County. The meeting will take place at 10 a.m. at the CAP office located in the Collier Center, 387 East Main Street, Inez.
Meetings began Oct. 7 with sessions in Floyd County at 60 Court Street, Allen, at 10 a.m. and Pike County at 478 Town Mountain Road, Pikeville, at 2 p.m.
In addition to the meeting in Inez on Oct. 8, there will be a meeting in Magoffin County at 862 Parkway Drive, Salyersville, at 2 p.m.
The final meeting will take place Oct. 9 in Johnson County at 230 Court Street in Paintsville at 10 a.m.
LIHEAP, a federally funded program, begins Nov. 3.
