Marie Fitch
1929—2025

Marie Fitch, 96, of Inez, passed away peacefully at her home Sept. 25, 2025.

Born Jan. 14, 1929, in Martin County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Wilda Endicott Fitch and Tom Fitch.

Marie worked many years with Western Electric before retiring. She was a devoted sister and aunt, remembered for her kindness, strength and the love she shared with her family.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, James Shirley, Irene Cassady, Frances Justice, Howard Fitch and Lucian Fitch.

She is survived by her sister, Jackie Pack of Inez and her brother, Harley Fitch of Sevierville, Tennessee, along with many nieces, nephews and extended family who will cherish her memory.

Funeral services took place Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez. Burial followed at the Fitch Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Kentucky.
