Martin County Sheriff John Kirk

INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:

Johnny King

Johnny King, 54, of Tomahawk, was arrested Monday for driving on a DUI-suspended license, rear license not illuminated, failure to produce an insurance card, and no registration receipt.

Tracey Beaver

Tracey Beaver, 27, of Hazard, was arrested Monday for contempt of court, libel/slander, and resistance to order. Sheriff Kirk served the warrant.

Linda Ball, 50, of Inez, was arrested Sunday at Zip Zone/McDonald’s in Inez on a bench warrant for court. Deputy Jameson Wall served the warrant at 12:10 a.m.

Robert Drenning

Robert Drenning, 49, of Beauty, was arrested Saturday at Lovely Zip Zone on an indictment warrant charging him with bail jumping first degree and a bench warrant for court. Deputy Steven Putman served the warrants at 7:33 p.m.

John Henry Jude

John Henry Jude, 55, of Debord, was arrested Saturday on Route 40 in Inez for driving on a DUI-suspended license and excessive windshield tinting.

Deputy Wall initiated the traffic stop at 6:41 p.m., noting that Jude’s vehicle had “blacked-out” windows. During the stop, the deputy discovered Jude’s driver’s license had been suspended for DUI.

Michael Tesi

Michael Tesi, 39, of Warfield, was arrested Friday at Dempsey Housing in Warfield for assault, fourth degree (domestic violence), minor injury.

Deputy Wall responded to the scene around 7:39 p.m. and found a female victim with visible injuries, including marks on her arm and neck, a bruised eye and a swollen cheek.

According to the arrest citation, Tesi admitted that he slapped the woman on the cheek and held her down to restrain her. The victim told law enforcement that Tesi struck her multiple times in the face.

Judy Pauley

Judy Pauley, 63, of Inez, was arrested Sept. 11 for aggravated trafficking in controlled substance – 10 grams or more of carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives, trafficking in controlled substance, first degree, first offense – less than 2 grams of methamphetamine, trafficking in controlled substance, first degree, first offense – less than 10 dosage units of opiates, and drug paraphernalia – buy/possession.

Deputies JC Kirk, Jimmy Robinson and Steven Putman executed a search warrant at a residence on Bandmill Road around 2:30 a.m., acting on a complaint of illegal drug trafficking. They seized more than 400 grams of suspected fentanyl/carfentanil and methamphetamine. They also found pills, digital scales, plastic baggies, electronic devices and cash.

Clarence Pauley

Clarence Pauley, 41, of Inez, was arrested Sept. 11 for aggravated trafficking in controlled substance 10 grams or more of carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives, trafficking in controlled substance first degree less than 2 grams of methamphetamine, trafficking in controlled substance first degree less than 10 dosage units of opiates and drug paraphernalia – buy/possession.

Byron H. Marcum

Byron H. Marcum, 61, of Beaver, Ohio, was arrested Sept. 10 at the Martin County Sheriff’s Office after turning himself in for an indictment warrant. Chief Deputy Chris Kidd made the arrest at 8:17 a.m.

Timmy Mullett, 46, of Louisa, was arrested Sept. 9 at Quail Hollow Apartments in Inez on a bench warrant. Constable Bradford Preece served the warrant at 7:20 p.m.
