Elaine Ruth Brewer
1957—2025

Elaine Ruth Brewer, 67, of Prichard, West Virginia, entered into her heavenly home Sept. 11, 2025, while at home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born Oct. 16, 1957, to the late Elvis and Virginia Ruth Frye Hopkins.

In addition to her parents, she was welcomed into heaven by her brothers, Ronnie Hopkins, Harley Hopkins, Harmon Hopkins, William Hopkins and Roy Hopkins and her sisters, Betty Box, Vivian Greyheck, Linda Hopkins, Jean Fox and Opal Hurst.

Elaine primarily spent her time dedicating her life to working for the Lord. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, spending her years caring for her family. She enjoyed cooking, singing, teaching Sunday school, quilting, gardening, and canning. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Those left here on earth to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 49 years, who was the love of her life, Dallas Brewer, her son Dwayne (Katrina) Brewer, her daughter, Crystal (Rabin) Ihlenfeld, her grandchildren, Brady Brewer, Katie Brewer, Alyssa Ihlenfeld, and Olivia Ihlenfeld, and her sisters, Sharon (Terry) Muncy and Sue (Eddie) Estep. She also leaves behind a host of family, church family and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, at Warfield Chapel of the Callaham Funeral Home with Ellis Maynard officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Kentucky.
