INEZ — Downtown Inez will turn into a street-fair celebration this Friday and Saturday as the Harvest Festival brings more than 60 vendors, its biggest carnival yet, live music and family fun. Dozens of food booths, craft tables, games, and community displays will line the streets, filling the weekend with the sights, sounds and tastes that make this event a beloved tradition.
No Harvest Fest is complete without the world-famous lemonade from the Martin County Kiwanis, a booth that will be busy from morning until night.
Alongside them, William and Lisa Workman will be frying up fresh-cut and ribbon fries and layering Philly steak sandwiches, while also offering carnival games to keep younger visitors entertained.
Inez Free Will Baptist Church will be serving corn dogs and funnel cakes.
Martin County Historical Society will fire up the grill with Polish sausage and hot dogs.
Cassady’s BBQ will return with its pulled pork sandwiches and BBQ potatoes.
Big Elk United Baptist Church will keep its booth stocked with burgers and walking tacos.
Cooling treats will be easy to find. Ice’d Up will serve shaved ice and flavored drinks.
M&J Concession brings the crunch of pork rinds and the sweet smell of kettle corn.
Angie’s Blooming Onion will fry up their signature onion blossoms and chicken tenders.
Cajun Hillbilly on Wheels will add a spicy twist with Cajun chicken fried rice and BBQ chicken potatoes.
The marketplace will also be rich with handmade goods.
Cathy’s Boutique will showcase clothes and shoes.
Adam Harmon’s Sub Human Sounds will offer tumblers, metal signs and sublimation designs.
Angela Clevenger will bring her crochet items.
Chloe Hale’s booth, Chloe’s Crochet Corner, will feature her own crochet work.
Madison Muncy, with her shop Oh So Fresh, will stock freshies.
Hope Harmon’s Custom Stitches will add more crochet to the mix.
Sassy’s Sweets, owned by Samantha Slone, will sweeten the day with mini cakes.
Woven Whimsy, by Kayla Perry, will combine beaded jewelry with crochet items.
Maryann Farley’s Mad Stormy’s Menagerie will display art, oils and other crafts.
Churches and schools will also have a strong presence.
Turkey Creek Church of the Nazarene will bring a basketball hot shot game, baked goods and an Amazing Race competition.
Martin County High School Band and Choir will be selling baked goods to support their program.
Golden Memorial Church is hosting a quilt raffle.
Martin County Middle School Beta Club will sell baked goods and Cardinal merchandise.
Lyndsey Horn, with her business Merlyn Made, will have book stickers, macrame ornaments and handmade earrings.
James McKinney, with Peachy Prints, will offer 3D prints, paintings and ornaments.
The variety will continue with Harry Reed presenting his book “Tongues of Deception.”
Stephanie Proctor’s booth, Steph’s Stuff, will be filled with Halloween decorations, novelty items, toys and gift sets.
Jessie Tackett, with Grace Lynn’s, will serve candy and baked goods.
Jennifer Spence’s Always Stitchin’ will feature embroidered shirts, fall crafts, handmade dolls and baby quilts.
Clara Mineer will sell produce and hats.
Crystal Hazelett will offer t-shirts, jewelry, keychains and hard candy.
Art and design will shine through Mayson Makayla Art, which will display original paintings.
Designs by Brooke will feature t-shirts and freshies.
Southernly Sweet Boutique will bring t-shirts, glow-in-the-dark items, purses, bags and shoes.
Southern Designs will offer screen-printed and embroidered apparel.
DF Sales will stock hats, throws, cups and jewelry.
Sisters Southern Shirts will display beaded items, t-shirts, tumblers, pens and sublimations.
Freedom Freewill Baptist will sell baked goods, pens and fidgets.
Dacia York will tempt festivalgoers with candy and caramel apples.
For those looking to add flair to their festival look, Express Yourself Salon will offer braids, tinsel and feathers.
Sun Sisters Tanning will feature permanent jewelry.
Jessie Lea Crochet will bring more handmade crochet work.
Braylee’s Braids & Beyond will add to the fun with hair braiding, bracelets, stickers and temporary tattoos.
Thread & Ink will stock embroidered shirts, DTF shirts, sublimation and tumblers.
Sublime Designs will have cups, bookmarks and Cricut decals.
The Sweet Spot will offer baked goods.
Fletcher & Matney 3D Printing will showcase 3D printed creations.
A Little Dash of Sugar will tempt visitors with macaroons and sugar cookies.
Big Elk Creek Freewill Baptist will bring even more baked goods.
His Craft Our Brotherhood/ Howard’s Game Calls will sell hats, shirts and handcrafted game calls.
Carl D. Perkins Center will provide information at its booth.
LiKEN (Livelihood Knowledge Exchange Network), Kentucky Power Company and Operation Unite will also offerresources and outreach.
Made with Love will feature jewelry and sublimation pieces.
Trey Lafferty will display his metal wall art and small crafts.
Vanna’s Ts & Treats will offer t-shirts and baked goods.
TNT Inflatables will bring the excitement of a mechanical bull.
Irene Brewer will round out the vendor list with novelty items.
Beyond the vendor booths, families can enjoy over 20 vendors at the Health & Wellness Pavilion, hayrides, a petting zoo, pony rides, a cruise-in, parade, pet show and the carnival rides that make the Harvest Festival a centerpiece of fall in Martin County.
