RICHMOND — Martin County’s Kenadie Evans capped off her final appearance at the All “A” State golf tournament with a top-15 finish Saturday in Richmond.
The All “A” Region champion teed off at 10 a.m. from hole No. 1 and battled through steady rain and gusty winds to card an 88.
The conditions proved to be a challenge for the entire field, but Evans stayed steady to secure her place among the top competitors in the state.
Evans, a senior, has been a leader for the Cardinals golf program. She leaves a strong legacy as a regional champion and multi-year state qualifier.
