INEZ — Martin County High School’s Jobs for America’s Graduates program is opening the school year with its signature showcase of student voices.
In partnership with the Martin County Kiwanis Club, the MCHS chapter will host the Ninth Annual Harvest Fest Speech and Poetry Contest on Sept. 12. The event takes place on the Harvest Fest stage from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This year’s theme, “My dream for Martin County is,” invites students to reflect on the county’s future through their own words and performances.
MCHS JAG KY student leaders set out Tuesday to promote the competition in schools across the district, encouraging participation and community support.
